What is UV aging?

Specifically, there are ultraviolet lamps inside the UV aging test chamber, and the ultraviolet spectrum produced by them is similar to the solar spectrum, which can simulate different wavelengths of ultraviolet radiation, such as UV-A, UV-B and UV-C. At the same time, the test chamber is also equipped with a temperature and humidity control system, which can control the temperature and humidity in the test chamber according to the test requirements.

Precautions for UV aging test chamber:
1. After a long period of non-use, if you need to use it again, you must carefully check the water source, power supply and various components, and start the device after confirming that it is correct.
2. Because ultraviolet radiation is highly harmful to personnel (especially eyes), operators should minimize exposure to ultraviolet rays (the exposure time should be <1min). It is recommended that operators should wear protective goggles and sheaths.
3. When turning on the machine, the water shortage protection cannot be activated due to lack of water in the water storage tank. This is a normal phenomenon. Please fill up the tap water and start the machine.
4. The equipment is strictly prohibited to be used for testing of flammable, explosive, poisonous and highly corrosive items.
5. The ultraviolet aging test chamber is a precision instrument, and the equipment needs to be calibrated once a year. And pay attention to the life of the lamp tube during use. If the lamp tube cannot reach the set radiation intensity under full power working condition, the lamp tube needs to be replaced.
6. When replacing the ultraviolet lamp tube, be sure to pay attention to the power failure state. And wipe the lamp tube around with a damp cloth to facilitate the removal of the lamp tube. In the process of pulling out the lamp tube, it is necessary to maintain the balance of the two sections of the lamp tube.

The Daily maintenance of UV aging test chamber:
1. If the UV aging tester is not working, keep it dry and disconnect the power supply.
2. After the test, drain the water in the testing machine, and dry the working room and the cabinet.
3. After use, remember to cover the plastic cover to avoid dust intrusion. If there is dust, it should be removed in time.
4. The sensing device in the working room should not be subject to strong impact.
5. The UV aging test chamber is best placed in a well-ventilated place (it is recommended to install a ventilation fan to keep the room ventilated), and it should not be installed in a place with a lot of dust.
6. When the ultraviolet aging test box fails and cannot be eliminated by yourself, please find relevant personnel, and do not disassemble it privately.
7. If the test box is not used for a long time, it is necessary to carefully check the water source, power supply and various components when it is used again, and then start the UV aging test box after confirming that it is correct.
