IPX34 waterproof test chamber

First of all, let’s look at the appearance of the IPX34 waterproof test chamber. The test chamber shell is made of blue and white paint. The difference between the chamer-type model and the column-type model is that the chamber-type waterproof and rain-proof test model can recycle water, and there is a water storage tank at the bottom of the test machine, and the water after the test will flow back to the water storage tank. The chamber-type structure has the characteristics of circulating water, which can be said to be both energy saving and environmental protection. More importantly, customers no longer need to build a special waterproof laboratory, which greatly saves the initial investment cost. In addition, four movable casters are installed at the bottom of the test box in a humanized way, which makes the handling of the machine more convenient.

Then look at the door of the waterproof test chamber . The outer shell of the door is sprayed with blue paint. There are transparent toughened glass windows on it. There are also LED lights in the chamber. The purpose is to let the operator see the test situation of the inner chamber more clearly, so as to make better records. The sample power socket is installed directly below the LED lamp. The sample power supply can be powered on or off and the time can be controlled by the system, which is convenient for some sample tests that need to be powered on.

The test pendulum tube is placed in the middle of the inner chamber. The reason why it is called pendulum tube is that the pendulum tube needs to be swung for testing. The shape of the swing pipe is a semicircle structure, with nozzles evenly distributed on it. The size of the spray holes is 0.4mm in diameter, and the distance between each hole is 50mm. (Designed in strict accordance with GB4208 standard) According to the detection standard, the distance between the tested sample and the spray hole should be 200mm max, so as to make the test sample more uniform and more accurate.

Similar to the column-type rain test machine, the pendulum tube of the test box is also removable. The difference is that the number of nozzles used to test IPX3 and IPX4 is different, but in order to facilitate the test, we improved the design itself. To change the test level, we only need to change the nozzle. In order to ensure the normal swing of the swing tube, we installed a protractor at the opposite position of the rotating shaft.

Next, the position directly below the pendulum tube is the turntable where the test sample is placed. The turntable is made of SUS304 stainless steel, with good corrosion resistance. Because the height of the test sample and the water spray hole should have a fixed distance, the height of the turntable is adjustable, which can be adjusted manually. In addition, the turntable can present three rotation modes to make the test more accurate. We can also clearly see that there is a mesh filter layer in the water outlet of the inner tank to prevent the water spray from blocking the pinhole when the sample or other sundries flow to the water storage tank and the water storage tank flows back to the pinhole during the test.

Speaking of the filter layer, there is also a filter installed at the back of the testing machine. The function of the filter is to filter the impurities that are injected into the running water of the testing machine. The reason for using tap water when testing equipment is that tap water does not contain too many impurities. It is also mentioned above that the aperture of the spray hole is 0.4mm. If there are too many impurities in the water, the spray hole will be blocked, which will not only shorten the service life of the nozzle, but also consume more raw materials of the nozzle.
