  • Description
  • The pendulum impact test device is made according to the requirements of IEC 60068-2-75:2014 test Eha Clause 5.1.2, and meets the requirements for test equipment in IEC60884-1: 2022 Clause 24.2, GB/T 16915, GB/T 10979, GB/T 17466.1-2019 Clause 15.4, IEC 60669 Clause 20.1, VDE 0620, IEC 60068-2-75 Clause 5. It is used to conduct mechanical strength tests on electrical accessories such as household and similar plugs, sockets, switches, etc. The device is generally fixed vertically on a solid wall, and the mounting bracket seat can be adjusted forward, backward, left, and right. This device uses an LCD screen to display the impact angle and height. The impact height can be accurately calculated based on the length and angle of the swing bar. It can be adjusted to any height and the display is accurate.

    Specifications:
    • Impact component mass: 150±1g/250±1g
    • Mounting bracket mass: 10±1Kg
    • Bracket rotation angle: ±60°
    • Pendulum length: 1000±1mm
    • Pendulum material: steel pipe with outer diameter 9 mm and wall thickness 0.5 mm
    • Impact height: 1~1000mm (adjustable)
    • Sensor resolution: angle 0.36 degrees, height 0.1mm

    Operation Procedures:
    1. Install the IK01-06P on a vertical wall with the expansion screw (you can find them in the packing). During the test, install the testing sample on the plywood (with screws or by hand), then make the impact point and the center of the impact element on the same horizontal line;
    2. Loosen the pendulum shaft position adjustment screw to make the pendulum shaft just touch the impact element and the impact point in a free-hanging state: press the zero key of the meter to set the displayed value to zero;
    3. Hang the pendulum shaft on the release mechanism, and adjust the pendulum to the required height according to the test requirements/IEC Standards (the meter will automatically measure the height of the pendulum according to the elevation angle of the pendulum shaft);
    4. Pull the release mechanism and the test begins;
    5. After the test, remove the sample and check whether the sample meets the requirements specified in the requirements/IEC Standards.
