How does a salt spray chamber work

The salt spray chamber mainly deals with the surface treatment of various materials, including paint, electroplating, inorganic and surface film, anodizing, anti-rust oil and other anti-corrosion treatments, and then testing the corrosion resistance of its products. Electroplating can be done according to customer requirements for the parts and products are subjected to salt spray test.

1. Prepare a place for placement, preferably a separate laboratory. Connect the air inlet pipe, water inlet pipe, and sewage pipe of the equipment, and the air compressor is ready. Install in a well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight.
2. The equipment needs to be operated and maintained by professional personnel.
3. Install the internal parts of the equipment: tower spray device, spray, funnel, round rod, V-shaped sample holder, etc. Then mix the pure water and industrial salt in a ratio of 1:19, pour it into the salt water bucket, and add water to the saturated bucket, inside the tank, and the seal.
4. After all the preparations are done, close the lid of the chamber and check for some problems on the pipes. After confirming OK, connect to the power supply and power on, set the box temperature point, saturation barrel temperature point and experiment you need to do on the meter the time can also be used in two spray modes, continuous and periodic, according to the experimental requirements. After all the settings are OK, just press Run.

Some things to pay attention to during the use of the salt spray test chamber:
1. Pour the prepared sodium chloride brine into the brine replenishment tank to automatically fill the brine into the preheating tank in the salt sprayt chamber, and make the brine flow to the brine preheating tank.
2. Turn on the switch of the automatic water inlet valve, drain valve and exhaust valve to add water to the isolation tank to the backing position.
3. Be sure to check whether the equipment is deformed and whether the pipeline is unblocked. The salt spray chamber material used in the neutral test and the CASS test is different. The manufacturer’s standard salt spray test chamber is made of PVC board. If you need to do CASS test or copper accelerated acetic acid test or other, it must be explained before leaving the factory, otherwise improper operation may cause the cabinet to deform.
