LISUN ZY-3 Needle Flame Test – After-sales Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

According to IEC60695-2-2, IEC60695-11-5 and GB/T-5169.5, ZY-3/ZY-3S needle flame test equipment is applied in the production and quality control department of lighting products, hyperpiesia electrical apparatus, domestic appliance, machine electric appliance, electrical machine, power tool, electronic instrument, electrician instrument and technical equipment. Also, the apparatus is fit for the industry of insulation material, engineering plastics and solid combustible material.

When used LISUN ZY-3 Needle Flame Test, you may have the following questions. LISUN engineer team listed out the standard answers for your reference, which will help you solve the problems by yourself:

Q1: There is no butane gas in tha package.

A1: The equipment includes a gas supply device and butane gas. However, butane gas is flammable and explosive, and may not be shipped depending on the express delivery policy of each region.

Butane gas can also be purchased locally for testing. It can be connected directly to the back of the equipment without going through our gas supply device.

Q2: A C D buttons are not available.
A2: Need to click B “Reset” before each test. Then other buttons will be available.

Q3: Temperature rise time is not 23.5s.
A3: The temperature rise time is used to determine whether the butane gas you use, the flame you adjust, and the test conditions meet the standard test requirements. If the temperature rise time is incorrect, it means that your test does not meet the standard requirements, not that there is a problem with the equipment itself.
Please confirm that the gas used meets the standard requirements and the adjusted flame size meets the standard requirements. Please confirm that the set temperature rise range is 100 degrees to 700 degrees. Please confirm that the position of the copper block is fixed according to the standard, which is 6mm directly above the needle. Please close the chamber door. Then start measuring the temperature rise time. If there is air flow, it will also affect the temperature rise effect.

Q4: The flame is unstable after a period of use
A4: The needle should be cleaned after each use of the device. But after long-term use, the needle still needs to be replaced regularly. If the equipment is used frequently, it is recommended to replace the needle at least once every six months.
