Product No: LS-B18
The LS-B18 Plug Gripping Test Device With Reference Plug is a specialized piece of equipment designed specifically for testing the clamping performance of plugs. This device uses specialized clamps to fix the test object and together with measuring tools, collects and compares force data, simulating the stress state of the plug in actual use scenarios. By obtaining accurate data through standardized operating procedures, it verifies the plug’s clamping performance and ensures that the tested product’s performance meets the technical requirements of the corresponding standards.
Standard:
| Standards | Standards Name |
| IEC 60884-1:2022 | Household and similar plug and socket-outlets – Part 1: General requirements |
| GB/T 2099.1-2021 | 家用和类似用途插头插座 第 1 部分:通用要求 |
Specification:
• Compared plug: 304 stainless steel, the surface roughness of the plug is 0.5 μm ~ 0.8 μm
• Compared with the number of plugs: 1 piece
• Including test fixture
• Including force gauge (200N)
Applications:
1. Clamping performance testing of household plugs
2. Clamping force compliance testing of plugs for similar applications
3. Product quality control for plug manufacturers
4. Random inspection of plug products by quality supervision agencies
Operation Steps:
1. Prepare the test plug, clamp the test plug with the sample fixture, the plug surface is flush with the plate’s bottom surface, the test plug pins go through the hole of the plate, the rod goes through all the holes of the plug pins, then hook the digital force gauge on the top ring, pull the force gauge and record the force value three times.
2. Clamp the reference plug with the sample fixture, the reference plug surface is flush with the plate’s bottom surface, then the rod goes through the hole of the reference plug, hook the digital force gauge on the top ring, pull the force gauge and record the force value three times.
3. Compare the force values of step 1 with the force values of step 2 as per IEC 60884-1 Annex B
