What’s use of Horizontal & Vertical Flame Test Chamber?
It is used to test the appliances and plastic materials parts of electrical equipment for the horizontal, vertical flammability test. The product tank shell is irony spray, and configured a transparent viewing window, the digital meter shows the burning time, afterflame time, afterglow time, this device has beautiful appearance, is easy to use and has reliable performance.
Q1: When adjusting the gas flow, the pressure gauge has no data.
A1: The general standard stipulates that the purity of methane gas used should be 98%. The outlet pressure of the gas supply cylinder needs to be adjusted between 0.5 and 1bar. The pressure gauge on the HVR-LS chamber will have a data. If the purity of the methane gas used is low, or the outlet pressure of the gas supply cylinder is not high, the pressure gauge on the HVR-LS chamber has no data.
Q2: After putting water into the U-shaped pipe, the back pressure cannot be adjusted.
A2: First, make sure that the gas used meets the standard requirements. If it does not meet the requirements, the gas pressure is insufficient and the back pressure cannot be adjusted.
When shipping, the hose connected to the U-shaped tube will be temporarily fixed with a cable tie. When using it, you need to remove the corresponding cable tie. If you are not sure which one it is, please take a photo and send it to us for confirmation. You may also need to open the left panel to confirm whether the hose inside also has a cable tie that needs to be removed.
Q3: The burner cannot be ignited automatically.
A3: During the transportation or handling of equipment, the position of igniter and burner may be moved. Please adjust their positions and try it again.
Q4: The temperature rise time error is large.
A4: First, confirm that the purity of the gas used meets the standard requirements.
Secondly, please adjust the positions of the copper and burner according to the standard.
When doing temperature rise test or testing, please close the door of the chamber to prevent excessive air flow from affecting the temperature rise or test results.
Q5: How to conduct continuous testing.
A5: The default value of the number of burns in the figure below is 1. If you need to do a continuous combustion test, modify it to a value greater than 1 and less than or equal to 5 according to the number of times required. During the test, the after-flame time and after-glow time need to be recorded for each flame test.
After the test is completed, all test data can be viewed in the test record.
