Basically, all waterproof test machines have an intelligent control operation system. Controlling the entire operation core system—the operation panel is a 7-inch color touch screen + Panasonic PLC. The user can set parameters, start, stop, clear data and other actions on the mobile phone or computer. (Remote control function requires downloading the corresponding software). Of course, we also have a simpler operation system, with the purpose of providing more convenience for customers and meeting the production requirements of more customers.
Let’s take a look at the door of the spray test device. The door shell is sprayed with blue paint, and there is a transparent tempered glass window on the top. There are also LED lighting lamps inside the chamber, in order to make the operator see the test situation inside the box more clearly, in order to better record. The LED lighting lamp is right below the sample power socket, and the sample power is turned on and off and the time is controlled by the system, which is convenient for some samples testing.
In the middle of the inner chamber is the test swing pipe. The reason why it is called the swing pipe is that in the test, the swing pipe needs to swing for testing. The shape of the swing pipe is semi-circular, and the top is evenly distributed with nozzles. The diameter of the nozzle is 0.4mm, and the distance between each nozzle is 50mm. (strictly designed according to GB4208 standard) According to the test standard, the test sample should be 200mm max apart from the nozzles, so that the test sample can be sprayed more evenly and the test is more accurate.
The same as the upright rain simulator, the test chamber’s swinging pipe is also removable. Differently, the number of the nozzles for testing IPX3 and IPX4 is different but for easier test, we improved the design of itself and changed the test degrees by replacing the needles. Moreover, in order to ensure the regular swing of the pipe, we also installed a protractor on the relative position of the axle.
Coming to the mid-way position underneath the pipe, it is the platform for placing the test sample, which is made of SUS 304 stainless steel that has good corrosion resistance. As the height of the test sample and the water-spray holes must be contained in a corresponding fixed value, the height of the platform is adjustable, which can be adjusted manually. In addition, the platform can be rotated in three ways for a more accurate test. We can also clearly see that there is a mesh-like filter layer inside the outlet of the inner box, in order to prevent samples or other sundries flowing into the water storage tank, and then blocking the water spray holes.
Speaking of filters, there is also a filter behind the test machine, which serves the purpose of filtering out the sundries in the tap water pumped into the test machine. The reason why the tap water is used in the test is because it does not contain much impurities. As mentioned above, the water spray holes have an aperture of 0.4mm, if there are too many sundries in the water, it will block the water spray holes, which not only reduces the life of the nozzle, but also consumes more original materials.

JL-X waterproof test machine is according to IEC60529:1989 +A1:1999 +A2:2013 《Degrees of protection provided by enclosures(IP Code)》, IEC60598, IEC60335 and IEC 60034-5, GB/T-2423.2, GB4208, GB7000.1.
