LISUN JL-56CP Waterproof Test Chamber – After-sales Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

JL-XC series waterproof test chambers are mainly used for small electronic and electrical products such as lamps, electrical cabinets, electrical components and so one. It is used for physical and other related properties checking under simulated climatic conditions. It determines whether the performance of the product meets the requirements or not after the test. It is very useful in the design, improvement, verification and factory inspection of the product. The JL-XC waterproof testing fully meets IEC60598-1,  IEC60529:1989 +A1:1999 +A2：2013 《Degrees of protection provided by enclosures(IP Code)》, GB4208-2008 and GB7000.1.

Features:
• The outer casing is made of high-quality steel plate, and the surface is painted with paint which is beautiful and durable. The inner box, the turntable, and the wading part are all made of SUS304 stainless steel plate to make sure that it will not rust after using for a long time. (Inner box sheet thickness: 1.2mm, can handle the water pressure)
• IPX12: The compressed air drying function can remove the excess water in the drip tank after the test to avoid long-term water accumulation and fouling. (User need to provide air compressor)
• IPX34: The driver for the swing pipe adopts high-quality servo stepping motor, the swinging speed and angle are precisely adjustable. There is no out-of-step problem (the risk of out-of-step: it will cause the swinging tube to malfunction, hitting the middle turntable shaft, causing equipment damage)
• IPX56: It is with monolithic structure. The sray gun direction is adjustable and can be fixed. The operator only need to start the test but no need to carry the spray gun.

• The water supply line is equipped with a filter to filter impurities in the water to prevent nozzle clogging.
• The LED waterproof lighting is installed in the chamber, and there is a large observation window on the door to facilitate the observation of the test sample.
• The equipment equipped with a water tank for recycling water, no need building a professional waterproof test room. The water tank float valve in the water tank automatically controls the water inlet, and has high and low water level alarm monitoring to effectively prevent the pump from being damaged due to running out of water.
• The turntable uses a stepper motor, the speed can be set on the touch screen, and can control the forward and reverse rotation (suitable for the sample power-on test to prevent winding).
• Touch screen control function: Directly select the waterproof level on the self-developed IPX waterproof level test operation interface. You can run test according to the waterproof rating conditions in the standard terms easily.
• Test sample input power: single-phase 220V/10A (other specifications can be customized)
• Equipment power supply frequency: Default is 50Hz and 60Hz is also available (It is very important to confirm us your grid power frequency) 

Q1: The chamber makes unusual sounds or other abnormalities when it starts up and cannot operate normally
A1: Please make sure that the voltage and frequency of the connected power supply are consistent with the product nameplate. Otherwise, the device may be damaged.

Q2: After powering on, the touch screen displays a phase sequence error
A2: JL-56 power supply is three-phase electricity. If the phase sequence is incorrect, the equipment cannot operate normally. Please turn off the equipment, then swap the phase sequence of any two phases of the power line, that is, the connection order, and then turn on the equipment again.

Q3: The turntable will rotate during the test. Will it cause the power cord of the sample to get tangled?
A3: The turntable we designed will only rotate in one direction when the sample does not need power supply. When the sample needs power supply (click “Sample Power Supply” on the touch screen), the turntable will automatically change the direction of rotation every minute without causing the power cord to get tangled.

Q4: After clicking START, the chamber will not start the test
A4: Please confirm that the program is in its initial state. Please click “Zero Reset” and then click “Test Start” again to start the test.

Q5: How to confirm test results?
A5: If the sample short-circuits and shuts down during the test, it is definitely not in compliance with the standard. If the sample can still start and run normally, you need to take out the sample, wipe off the moisture on the surface, and then open the sample to check whether there is water inside. If there is water, it is also not in compliance with the standard.
For specific details, different industries have different rules, and you can refer to the corresponding industry standards.

Q6: It was normal during the IPX5 test, but it prompted water shortage during the IPX6 test.
A6: IPX6 requires much more water than IPX5, which is 100L per minute. If there is not enough water in the water tank, the program will prompt that there is a lack of water. Please add enough water to the water tank to ensure that the test can proceed normally.
